Join us for Washtenaw Community College STEAM week!

WCC brings together university and industry partners along with the WCC community to share their expertise and experiences regarding careers and opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM).

This year’s event includes interactive workshops, presentations, and scientific documentaries.

  • Virtual Sessions will be offered on February 24 and 26.
  • In-person student poster presentations and exhibit tables on February 25.

Teachers are encouraged to register and live stream virtual sessions to their students.

All WCC STEAM Week Virtual Sessions use the same Zoom link which you will receive after registration. We are awarding two student STEAM Week scholarships which can be used towards tuition and books at WCC for the Summer and/or Fall 2026 Semesters. To potentially receive the scholarship, students must attend at least one STEAM week event.

Join us for a fun-filled day of stories and STEM! Families are invited to explore the exciting world of STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math—through the power of storytelling and hands-on exploration.

Enjoy live readings hosted by Black Men Read featuring children’s books that bring STEM topics to life.  After story time, enjoy the new children’s collection in the Bailey Library and visit activity stations, where kids and families can dive deeper into STEM concepts with hands-on experiments and engaging demonstrations. Perfect for learners and curious minds of all ages, this is a day to read, explore, and be inspired to imagine the future!
